Bridges to New Life
Just to hear how the Lord is working in spite of constant challenges, is a testimony of His grace. As you may know, Bridges to New Life impacts those whose lives have been affected by crime. Bridges addresses the need for post-release support of those who have spent time in prison. It meets a great need in the lives of many who would otherwise get lost between the cracks of our society.
The story of how Bridges started in 1998 in the Baskin home in Oyama to where they are now, finishing renovating their new building on Sutherland Ave, is exciting. The day that Rob came for lunch with me, he was in the midst of electrical and drywall appointments, etc. This is such a God
thing!! This new building will house up to 5 residents, who are learning to make a life for themselves after their release. The building will also include a classroom/meeting room, administration offices, etc. Please remember to pray for Rob and Brenda and the people that they serve.
