- - my parents as they adjust to life changes.
- - for the 6 trips that I have planned so far for the fall.
- - for our HMI Staff Conference as it takes place Sept 14 - 17 in Vermont, USA.
- - for new chapel programs beginning in Chase and Sidney, BC.
- - for financial support to come in. This is always a concern, as the nature of this ministry depends on travel.
- - for Brian and Margaret Atkins, long time supporters of HMI BC, as they have moved from BC to Newfoundland.

To the HMI BC Faithful...
Can you believe it? The summer is just about gone! How fast was that?? Wow!
Leading worship in Moncton
Well this summer has been a whirlwind for Lorraine and I. In a brief summer overview, in July, we were privileged to have someone give us a once in a lifetime trip to Sydney, Australia to attend a Hillsong Church Conference. I will never forget that experience!! Those were amazing days. When we returned to Canada, I packed immediately and headed off to Moncton, New Brunswick for a Hockey Ministries summer hockey camp. I was asked to lead worship every night, which I enjoyed tremendously. I believe 23 campers accepted Jesus that week! Isn't that amazing?
Speaking In Neslon
When I returned home, Lorraine and I were supposed to celebrate my parents 60th Anniversary in Smithers, however Dad had a heart attack and was flown to Vancouver for a 4 by-pass heart operation. We still went to Smithers and ended up helping transfer Mom into a Seniors home. It was a difficult time, but the Lord was with us. Dad is now back in Smithers recovering, and Mom now resides in the Seniors Home. Thank you for your prayers for our family.
Awesome friends Scott and Jason
In the mix of all this action, I traveled to Nelson to speak at Bethel Church and also, traveled to Vancouver to meet with Tim Ibbotson, the new chaplain with the Surrey Eagles Junior A Club. Tim and I also met with Ronnie Patterson, the team owner. We had a real good meeting, with lots of connection, and I believe that Tim is the right man for the job. Also, Junior B chapel programs have continued to develop. I believe that Chase and Sidney will be on board within the next month. Every new chapel program is a major victory, as we are spiritually entering territory where the enemy does not want us. That is why we need prayer and wisdom.
This week, I am spending time at the arena where my club is in training camp. Just showing up and making connections is so important. This is so very necessary, as it helps develop relationshhips quickly.
Richmond Osborne wanna go
I am including pictures of the Camp in Moncton, with friends Scott Robertson and Jason Beckett, and ex-Leaf Mark Osborne, (in our traditional Leafs/Canadiens rivalry!) the HMI Camp staff, etc.
Thanks for being such a great team, you are appreciated so very much,
