 A note about Evangel's Missions
PAOC MISSIONARIES ~ PRAYER NEEDS
The following missionaries are setting forth to minister in foreign lands
and need our prayers for protection, wisdom, good health and a smooth
transition into a very different culture.
Please ask the Lord to comfort,
bless and encourage them and to use them for His glory.
- Michael and Sheila Middlebrook with children Gabriella and Moriah
left for Nyang'ori, Kenya.
- Marty and Margit Mittelstaedt, Katelyn, Sydney and Allyson in Kigali, Rwanda.
- Gerald and Pat Golbek left for Pretoria, South Africa.
- Hank Vainio (Tarja Jardine's brother) left for the Middle East.
PAOC Missions Prayer Guide books with pictures and details of our
missionaries and their work are available in the church office for those
interested in praying specifically for their needs. Their sacrifices are
worthy of our earnest prayers.
PAOC Missionaries Worldwide: Do you know that PAOC missionaries
are in 138 countries with 260 individuals serving in this capacity? Praise
the Lord! Please continue to uphold all of our missionaries in prayer.

If you know of a missionary we support as a Church, that is not on here, please alert our missions council and our webmaster. Wanted: Dan Hein in Cambodia is seeking donations of brass or wood-
wind instruments, in good working condition, for the high school band at
Logos Christian School in Phnom Penh. If you are tired of storing them,
we can use them. Please call Kathy Hein at 250 764 1605.
Would you like to be a missionary, never leave Kelowna
and never preach a sermon? We have the right deal for you. Pay $5.00 for a box of 40+ items; books to suit all ages and tastes and some videos and cassette tapes.
Keep what you wish, but pass the rest on to your family, friends, neighbours, shut-ins, rescue missions or wherever you feel people might use these items. All are brimming with knowledge about the Love of God. These boxes will be on sale next Sunday.

September 18, Teen Challenge Okanagan, first annual golf tournament at Sunset Ranch.
Samaritan's Purse second annual Turn on the Tap fund raiser motorcycle ride and BBQ on September 19. www.samaritanspurse.ca.
Ethnos Missions Extravanganza: Friday, June 19, 6:30 pm in the Evangel Heritage Room.
May 17 Teen Challenge hosted a special lunch fundraiser in the gym after the Worship Service. Cost: by donation.
MOSAIC: CD-Release Fundraiser for CLA Kigali, Rwanda.

TEEN CHALLENGE OKANAGAN Graduation of Nathan Brereton and Nathan Price was on 6 February at 7:00 PM. The ceremony was held at Grace Baptist Church located at 1150 Glenmore Drive.
