CONGRATULATIONS. . .
. . . on the birth of your child! We sincerely hope that the Lord will continue to bless your family as your children grow and give you great wisdom to guide them.
We hope you take advantage of all the Nursery has to offer. Our goal is to be a safe and loving environment for your child and to help them in their first steps to knowing Jesus.

Children who have had any of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours should not be placed in the nursery:
- Runny "yellow or green" nose, cough or croup
- Fever (37.8 C or more), vomiting or diarrhea
- Any communicable illness
- Any unexplained rash or skin infection
- Children being treated with antibiotics must be on antibiotics for at last 24 hours prior to entering our care.
- We ask our caregivers to follow these same guidelines.
Emergency Procedures
In the unlikely event that the nursery needs to be evacuated, nursery staff and designated helpers will bundle up children and take them to the Courtyard Entrance of the church parking lot.

For babies from 0-23 months (this age is extended to 36 months for The Nursery on Wednesday nights). It offers a safe place for children to be loved and cared for.

The Nursing Mothers' Room
A room is available for nursing mothers next to the nursery. It is equipped with a speaker for the audio. A washroom and baby changing areas are in close proximity.
Sleeping Room
For sleeping infants, our three sleep rooms are equipped with cribs, monitors and blankets. You are welcome to leave your sleeping child with us and if requested, we will page you as soon as they wake up. Blankets and sheets are cleaned after each use.

Registration and Pagers
Children register in the main lobby, where they will be given a name tag with appropriate information and a pager number. Once you bring your child to the nursery, you will be given the matching pager which will vibrate if a nursery staff needs your attention. Please inform the nursery supervisor of any allergies, medical and/or behavioural concerns each time your child attends.
Diapers and Potty Training
Parents are responsible for diaper changes and will be paged if their child's diaper needs to be changed. Extra diapers and other supplies are available in the change rooms off to the right of the nursery area. Please let us know if your child is being potty trained.
Snacks
For the safety of the children, we provide only unsalted crackers and water for children in our nursery. Please let us know if you do not want your child to participate. If your child needs a bottle or cup while they are in the nursery, it should be leakproof and clearly labelled with your child's name.
