Dear friends,
We got home from Canada in time to prepare for the arrival of our Barnabas Ministries team.
The team of five speakers started arriving a day later than expected due to flight cancelations and confusion. In the end the first came last and the last came first, but all arrived safely. On Friday evening, June 4, we began our Barnabas event with Dr. David Wyns speaking to CLA's leadership team at our Apprecation Dinner. During Saturday's seminar for CLA all of the speakers were utilized in one great session or another. Sunday the speakers were dispersed to Rwanda Pentecostal Assemblies of God churches around this city.
Today(June 8th) is the 2nd day of the Pastors Conference. Over 160 pastors and wives have registered, and are being served morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. They are accomodated at the Bible College where they return for supper following the evening session at CLA from 6:00 - 7:30.
In the session before lunch today, Pastor Eugene Smith had the pastors on their feet cheering in response to the encouragement from God's Word. There has been a lot of "shouting for joy" going on these days! Tomorrow(June 9th) we will be packing bags of goodies to send back with our pastors, many who have travelled from very poor and remote areas of the country. This conference is such a worth while investment! When you support our budget here in Rwanda you support this treasured annual event for the RPAG pastors of this nation. Thanks for your partnership!
Blessings,
Elmer and Sherry.
