We are studying the fruit of Faithfulness this morning. Although this character trait flows out of the very faithfulness of God and is highly regarded in Scripture, it is not one that our culture seems to embrace and promote. In fact our culture might be marked by its unfaithfulness; we seem to be quite comfortable with unkept promises and broken commitments. It’s almost expected. In light of a diminishing number of ready examples of true and lasting faithfulness, our study today is both timely and essential.
