Character – Growth That Matters (pt. 3) Forgiveness
There is nothing that is more central to the gospel than this topic. To enter God’s kingdom we must first receive His forgiveness. And then to live in His kingdom we must be willing to forgive those who have sinned against us. Jesus said, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your father in heaven.” Forgiveness is a mark of a Christian. Yet it’s not always easy. In fact, it was C.S. Lewis who said, “Everyone says forgiveness is a lovely idea until they have something to forgive.” Forgiveness is not easy and yet it is always the right way to act. We will look at why that is true.
